Three MP10wQDs
Three EcoTech Maring MP10wQDs - Two at $240; one at $180 (details below).
One was purchased in March of 2020, and two were purchased secondhand from another user on here. The one purchased new in March 2020 developed a knocking sound after cracking the ceramic shaft cover (god those things are brittle). I attempted to repair it using the method described here: (https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/broken-shaft-on-an-mp10-fix-it-for-pennies.719189/) but it didn’t really work for me so it will probably need a new wet side (it runs, it’s just not quiet). I can send some of the heat-shrink tubing with it, but I would rather you be pleasantly surprised if it works, than be disappointed if it doesn’t.
Full disclosure: the two I picked up second hand already had the fix described in the above, but they are running like brand new with no noise. I can send a bunch of heat-shrink tubes if you want, but they’re cheap and work like a charm.
The one bought new in March 2020 is $185 because you will probably have to replace the wet side, but I will include a few of the sleeves if you want to try that fix.
Price per unit: $240.00
Shipping costs: $0.00
