And he left most of the fish alone? It was a snowflake eel , I had him for a year but I had to reehome him because he was getting to big
He never touched any of the fish that I know of. But the fox face rabbit fish did die while i had the eel but I don’t think it was because of the eel. I fed the eel frozen clams he loved them. So he was always well fed. Lol he did nip me one or two times and by pure just surprise I would pull back quick which would damage my finger more. It was just like a bad paper cut nothing serious would just have to peroxide it after so it wouldn’t get infected. They are pretty docile. Only thing you need to keep in mind is you always have to have a lid on. I had to put some weight on the corners of the mesh at night in case he would try to get out. He only got out once and that was when I had the lid of when doing a water change. Lol my hand was in the tank and he straight up jumped out like a dolphin and ended up getting under my tv stand lol I had to get him with a plastic griper I had. The only downside really was that he would stir up the sand like crazy when adjusting his burrows under the rock which would end up getting on corals. Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t have one in anything less than at least a 75 gallon if you want to have it at full sizeAnd he left most of the fish alone?
