Well I had done a ton of research and decided to give a Mandarin a try. I know they are often difficult to feed/provide enough pods for them. I picked one up at my LFS (Pure Reef in Alpharetta) after seeing it eat live brine and with the understanding that if I couldn't get it to eat the store would take him back. Well I am stoked as this guy was eating frozen mysis and Rods food within minutes of introduction to my system and has not looked back! I feed him from a pipette and at first he was a little afraid of it but quickly learned to look for it and gobble up everything presented! Of course my cleaner shrimp learned the same thing so he needs to be given a nice piece of table shrimp to keep him busy; basically the same way I feed my LPS. Sometimes we take risks with livestock decisions and I am happy to report that thus far this is working out well! Happy reefing
