This picture was the best picture I could get of this coral after 5 months in the tank. I thought he was a good looking healthy coral !
The second picture is after 5 weeks of using Seachem Reef Plus & Trace.
This is not the only coral that has changed, nearly all of the corals have more colour and polyp extension is amazing.
I have stopped using Red Sea A & B which in turn has lowered phosphates in my tank. Seachem guarantee no nitrates or phos in their product and so far so good.

This second picture is of the same coral 5 weeks later.
Colour doesn't show much improvement in the photo but trust me....wow ! colour has changed considerably and as you can see polyp extension....well i hope it shows as well in the photo as we see in our tank.

Color looks more vibrant too. Great news, i just started using reef energy A+B, is that what you stopped using?
Your Phosphates were notieably higher or slightly?
Thanks and congrats on the coral improvement, it not everyday that we notice things working as supposed to in the hobby.

Yes Red Sea A B is what i just stopped using. Skimmer would have to be turned off or go crazy and everytime after feeding I would notice the green algae on the glass would have to be cleaned every day instead of every 4 to 5 days. Phos was at around 0.05 yet before using was always 0.00-0.02(hanna egg). Glass is cleaner, no turning skimmer off, more affordable and phos back to undetectable to 0.02. I also didn't notice a lot of improvement in polyp extension etc.
