Throwback Thursday!! Show us a pic from way back when...

My first reef in 2002 right before the move, 38 gallon. It had been running for exactly two years and I had been unloading mushrooms and other softies to local reefers.

The platygyra was my most expensive coral, at $70 I was hesitant for weeks.

100 gallon DT / basement setup in 03. Sea swirls were a big thing back then! I think I was using an AB double ended setup at the time. Sand courtesy of southdown. Skimmer Euroreef 8-3. Knop reactor eventually upgraded to a pro-cal clone.

Don’t haven’t photos from 1980 handy, restarted in 15? No photos of the 15 g Aqueon tall, 1st pic 2016 20g Aqueon with hob filter. 2017 first rimless, cracked 6 months later, lost everything.

My nano being brought alive in 20 (It was a transitioned FW to SW tank - I already had a 4’ tank downstairs and wanted more) please ignore the train - I didn’t know where to put it back on 1st March 2020

My 2nd running tank at the same time was this 20L
My 1st exp drilling and a sump.
Was a great little tank. I grew Millipore in it. The trachy middle show piece was from seamax in 2008. I went solo and was my 1st reef show. I won a rodi unit at a raffle and never turned back. Lol
