Throwing away coral

I did something today that I thought I'd never do. I pried some coral (Blue Ridge Corals) from my rock and THREW IT OUT!!!

I don't like it because it really looks like a big brown turd on my rocks. It's not BLUE! It is also growing faster than anything else in the tank (of course!).

I always thought I'd either pay it forward by giving some away to new reefers, or recoup some of the vast $$$ I've spent by selling it. However, I decided that I can't inflict it on anyone else, so out in the trash it went!!

I do the same with my Hollywood stunner. I tried to dry it and turn it into paper once, didn’t work.
