There are a lot of products in this hobby that fail to work as claimed. When I first got the Aqua Medic fish trap I though for sure it would be one; but it works really well. I have had occasion to use it three times and in all cases caught the offender within a few days. Other than crappy instructions, Thumbs up!

Thanks for sharing! I don't remember who makes the trap I bought. But it works well also!

How is that gem tang of yours doing?

I finally got him into the big tank and the purple beat him up. Used the fish trap to remove the purple. We shall see.

Stinking PT! This is why I am afraid to get one. My PT and YT are pretty aggressive already.

One of the best purchases ever! This trap caught two coral nipping dwarf angels within two days and now my corals are happy!

The 'secret' is to put the trap into the tank and let the fish get used to it for a day or two. I put food into it as well to lull the little bastiges into a false sense of security. Problematic fish is often the most aggressive feeder and 'thinks' all the food is his. Spring the trap and feel free to laugh maniacally .....

I already know my Christmas Wrasse will be the first one in. he takes a swipe at me whenever I feed the tank. The little pygmy angel will be a little more skittish but I will get him sooner or later.
