So what all did everybody get? What are you most excited for?
I’m most excited to see the chili pepper monti chili !! And the meteor shower cypha! Both are so dang cool I’ve never seen them in person.

This was my very first forum based sale I took part in. I’d say it went really well.

for Tidal I’d like to do a pros/cons for good feedback

1) y’all are AWESOME there were some very nice snags in here- thank you for doing that, whole heartedly as a reefing newbie on a budget, it felt nice to somewhat be included on more expensive items at rock bottom pricing. Thank you!
2) overall EXCELLENT JOB, you all killed it with this sale!

pros-
- AMAZING selection, I feel each post was just long enough
-pricing is great
-I like the 1$ purchase to reserve your ship date
-you were very through with varieties, covered so many bases
-interacted during the sale(burning questions happen and time is of the essence)

cons-
-at first it was hard to purchase something, bc these folks are so fast, perhaps 2-3 of a kind next time listed together, w a limit of 1 on each numbered item

-while I like/understand the limits on 5$10$ coral, and followed them, there were a few I genuinely wanted later on in the sale

-needed more nems

OVERALL- congrats on what seems like a very successful first r2r sale I think a fantastic job was done all around, us customers enjoyed, myself especially!!

I went overboard trying to get to $250, but I did nab that flame boi! Here are my $5 and $10s

For the pros:
1. seeing pricy corals in the 5 and 10 was great. I was expecting GSP or Xenia but neither one was a part of the 5 and 10 deal. Most were $30-40 + Excellent job on the value.
2. Great tech support on the forum, actively answering questions is a major benefit. I'm sure without a way to respond, a lot of ppl might've dropped off. Just seeing their problems being addressed makes it feel safer to buy.
3. Beautiful images! hats off to the photographer for doing a good job on these. No closed up zoas lol!
4. The forum made it feel more like a community activity/event vs just a sale where you sit alone and get angry at not picking up the things you want. The memes helped ease the pain and spread the joy.

Things that could be improved on.
1. ETA on after sale would've been nice. No idea how long it was going to take after the sale ended.
2. Sort by batch on your website. Maybe under the Id, put in a batch number? that way we can sort by name and see the most recent batch.
3. I was worried about shipping in the winter and wanted to know if you had heat packs. You had a wonderful video so maybe link it somewhere at the start of the forum. It was also informative and reassuring. Also drive traffic to your site, and show off it's superb quality and the amount of effort you guys/gals put into everything on there.
4. Mention early and frequently to check spam folder. That was the number 1 issue I saw come up.
5. When posting the batch on the forum, maybe sort them by price from cheap to expensive. Now I know you don't want ppl to nab the super deals, so intersperse the $5 and $10 throughout, but it would've been nice if there was some general order to them.
6. 2/3 of the way through the sale, some of the $15 corals become $10. This was confusing because we only get 2 $10 ones. Do they count towards the limit? I was considering buying them for $15 after the sale, but not if they count toward my two $10 slots. maybe $11 would've been a better price. $10.01?

That's all I can think of at the moment. Thank you so much for the wonderful sale! I'm looking forward to the free coral. Fingers crossed for a microlord

You stinker! I was definitely moving fast to try and get that flame boi haha good work! I loved that Gatorade zoa, I’m new to this and the idea of an animal that can kill me is....has not settled yet so I’ll wait to more of them haha

Yea, I was iffy about zoas too... but they're sooo pretty and it's what got me interested in reef tanks. After looking at all the other ppl with zoas, (very few of them died so far) I think they're pretty safe as long as you wear gloves and eye protection!
