Tierra del Fuego Acro help

Hey guys! Super long time lurker here, I added a frag of tierra del fuego to QT about 6 weeks ago. It went from healthyish looking to dried out and crusty (best description I can think of), its starting to recede around the base a little also. Its the only acro in the tank that is struggling out of ~20. I've read they like high light and flow but that doesn't appear to be the case for me. No pests in the tank, no polyp extension in the photo cuz I just moved it down from a higher rack, polyp extension on it is usually pretty minimal too compared to anything else in the tank.

The TDF isn't really a difficult acro but is sensitive to photo shock, and I'm afraid that what happened to it.
Of course sometimes acros will just give up on you no matter how good care is taken and water para's are ultimate.
You just can't explain that.

I moved it down a couple inches last night, Ill give it a week and see if it shows any signs of turning around. If not I will lower it a bit more.

I would put in lower light and leave it alone, like for a few months don't even look at it.

Mine likes lower light and lots of food (and/or slightly elevated NO3 and PO4).

Cool thanks for the additional info guys. My NO3 and PO4 stay about .05 and 2-5ppm respectively so good there. I'm surprised that you guys say it likes lower light, the tank it came from was 6x T5 w/ 2x Reefbrite strips and the colony was about 6 or 7" from the top and looking SEXYYYYYY!

How bought flow? Higher or lower too?
