Tiger conch

hello! I am converting my tank to BB. I have a tiger conch and I know he likes to burrow in the sand. My question is, will I need to rehome him once I have no sand? Or will he be okay with BB? Thanks in advance.

My conch will stayed buried for weeks at a time so I would worry about him being happy.

Yea you’re probably right. Mine does the same thing. I’ve had it for years and I hate to let him go but that’s probably the right thing to do..

I have/had 2. I haven’t seen them for about 2 weeks. Prior I would see at least 1 everyday. I also have/had 3 fighting conchs. I haven’t seen 1 in over a month. The other about 3 weeks. Then the other I saw at night the other day which I didn’t see in awhile
