Tiger pistol shrimp and yellow goby pair

Hello all!! I got a yellow watchman goby a couple days ago and today was able to get the tiger pistol shrimp today. Should I drop the shrimp right next to the goby or just let them meet organically?

Try to place the pistol as close to the watchman as possible.

Theyll pair up on their own no need to put it near the shrimp may be better to put it further away on the off chance it darts in the pistol shrimps burrow and spooks it... That would be bad

I have a 6 foot tank 150 gal didn't have a problem finding eachother although I lost the watchman goby awhile after and that was my first pair so I will concede to a persumably more experienced keeper of pistol shrimp. I must've just gotten lucky.

In my 75 one was on the left the other on the right. Neither strayed far from home. Lost pistol in a tank upgrade. Haven't replaced it yet.

Its a 65gal.. we dropped it in and it went swimming directly to the yellow goby. Not sure if its spooked because the shrimp got away and snapped its claw. Will just keep an eye on it
