I think it probably is, I’m just wondering what I should do if I don’t have a quarantine tank for it.

It’s ich and you have 2 choices- treatment in quarantine which is as simple as a stater tank kit from Walmart with most of the essentials OR hyposalinity at 1.009 which I am reluctant with a more delicate fish like this

Okay I’ve gotten the stuff to quarantine, should I just quarantine till the fish seems better or try a treatment of some sort ?

30 days in copper power or copper safe at 2.25-2.5 ppm I believe is the recommended medication. The display tank and any fish in it now probably have ich too

Out of curiosity, how long have you had him for and what do you feed him?

What other fish are in with the goby? They will need to be treated for ich as well, as they will likely develop the disease also.

The goby seems a bit think to me, has it been eating well for you?

I had just gotten him the day before, he was fine at the store but he was in transport for about 30 hours. I think the stress might’ve done it and the other fish seem fine the day before. He’s now in quarantine with no medication, I’m going to get medication soon to start treatment. He hadn’t been very active or eating the whole time the night I put him in and when I got home the next day he looked like that.
