Hey R2R, does this goby like the diamond goby that goes all over the place of the tank? I am looking for something for my new build like my pair of yellow watchman gobies that they only hang out at one spot.

I had the diamond goby before and he was all over the tank which I kind of dislike, it kicked up a lot of sand.

which goby do you recommend for the look and slightly on the sand sifting purpose side.

thanks!

They are sandsifters. Tiger gobies like this are essentially a diamond goby that will go throughout the tank to sift sand but will also have a burrow

Maybe I will skip him then. I hate it when they work too hard and messing up lots of sand and corals since I put a lot in the sandbed.

My diamond goby tends to not go near my sandbed corals. Usually only moves stuff near the burrow but this is just my experience

+1, moves all over. Captive bred court jester gobies sift small amounts of sand on the top and don't bury corals. I wouldn't buy wild ones since they are finicky but Biota breeds them. I believe they can be kept in groups too. They are small though so easily bullied.
