Tiger Watchman Goby in 32G Biocube?

Is it viable to keep a Tiger Watchman Goby in a 32 gallon Biocube with supplimental feeding?

I hear sand sifters are best left to larger tanks (75+) with 0 coral near the bottom.

But with targeted feeding and 3-5 other peaceful tank mates, any reason why not?

I wouldn’t. They get large and active, and need Atleast 7-8 feedings a day. They get most of their food from the sand bed so it needs to be mature (2-5 years) and deep (3-6 inches). If you want an easy sandsifter, go for a Koumansetta hectori or Koumansetta rainfordi.

Thanks. Those 2 you advised seem like more free swimmers then the typical sand sifting gobies. Do they dig burrows? Cling to the bottom? Very beautiful either way.

Thier activity and water level just matters for my other fish and coral choices.

My Koumansetta hectori definitely doesn’t stick to the sand bed as much as my yasha or Griessingeri does. They do make a burrow for themselves to sleep in at night or dash into when threatened. The hectori will go up to the top when hungry but for the most part remain around the rockwork or just an inch or two off of the sand bed.
Here’s my hectori when he first went in before my aqua scape changing phase.
