Tigerpyge Hybrid Angel Info

Hey,

Does anyone have any info on these hybrids? I have the possibility to obtain one, but very little info. Only one thread through the search function. Google has a bunch of old stuff.

Anyone have one? What’s a fair price?

Are they aggressive? Would they deal with other centropyge in the tank?

It’s generally a cross between a lemonpeel and an eibli. Thus the appearance of the fish can vary greatly. I’ve seen some that were stunning and others that were meh. The last time DD had one it sold for around $1,000. My guess is that it’d be on the more aggressive end given the parentage.

I had two two years ago. They lost yellow colour after a few months and I would not buy again. Not aggressive against other Centropyge in my sample in a 1250g tank.

That sucks they lost their yellow color. Have you heard this happening before?

Before, in this time the Tigerpyge was beautiful,

I forget. I think the wholesale price was about 600 EUR. Retail also nearly 1200 EUR.
