I'm looking for some advice.

Back in late October, I bought a "blemished" Trigger Systems Triton Sump 34" V2 - Triton Method from an online vendor Trigger recommended; they don't sell directly. When I opened the box, the sump had a cracked corner at the top. The vendor said it was a blemish and it'll be fine. I installed it and right away it leaked from at least 3 locations from the base; bad leaks. I shifted the sump around and found a spot where the leaks slowed considerably, but still leaked. Had a couple of aquarists check for plumbing leaks, nothing.

I communicated my issue to the vendor by phone and email. After several back and forth, I was told to contact David at Trigger directly. I emailed back and forth with David a few times, provided him pix of the salt gathering from the bottom of the sump and pix of the (undamaged) box. He stopped emailing in late December. I sent him a few more emails to see what they're going to do and haven't heard back. Contacted the vendor and was told David hadn't responded to them either.

Has anyone had any issues with Trigger Sumps? I did my research and only read positive things.
Has anyone had contact with David at Trigger?
I'm worried 'cause it's been nearly 5 months and it seems I'm getting nowhere with this.
Any advice?

Thanks,
Vas
