I recently got one of these gorgeous Gobies. What I do know of them from a few google searches and older articles is that they are an indegineous species to the atlantic and gulf of mexico (I've encountered them in the wild here in Florida, prompting me to want them in my tank). I know they are an ORA fish also and readily breed in an aquarium. They are relatives (Well they are gobies so... duh) of cleaner gobies and of greenbanded goby (my all time fav goby). What I am looking for is...

Greenbanded goby, if you have two, like clownfish; you will always get a male/female pair. One will under go the change to become the opposite sex to breed. Does anyone know if these goby do the same?

I would very much like to try my hand at breeding these beauties.

That's cool. Did you purchase as a pair or, did one go through the change?

Do they ever lay eggs?

Sully! Hey! How are you? Doing well myself. I have a little journal on the nano thread if you want to check it out!
