Hello,

I have been researching online about these copepods,

A very friendly and helpful member of R2R advised that they are not substrate-dwelling and will be free swimming, making them almost impossible to establish a healthy culture,

However, I have read online (from the sellers), that these pods are substrate dwelling and will breed happily to establish the tank.

I'd just like a few more opinions, the ones I added too my tank stuck to the glass and the ceramic media when I added them, I also have a small refugium setup to help establish these little guys. However, I haven't seen many since, so are they hiding away to breed? Or were they free swimming and they've all been gobbled up?

I find them to be very active in low flow u can make your refugium low flow for zooplankton production/ detritus settling

Tbh I added two bottles of them in 20g and never saw much growing. Either they didnt reproduce or my clowns ate all the ones they could find.

All of mine usually go into the rocks
