Tile Sea star injured?!?! Help!

You're not alone. My only attempt at keeping a tile starfish ended the same way after only a couple of days.

I've had the most luck with this blue linkia, which I've had for 3 months now. But he spends 99% of his time like this.

That's super interesting... I've heard those are particularly hard to keep haha

Only problem there is I only have a 40B, and all the blue linkia I can find are humongous.
 
I had always heard the same thing, but my LFS had one so I thought I'd give it a shot. So far, so good. He doesn't seem to be shrinking. He's lasted longer than any other starfish I've tried. Granted I've only had a couple of sand sifters in addition to the one tile. BTW, this tank is 150 gal and established last July,but I transferred everything from a 60 gal that was a year and a half old.
