I think if I buy any other refrigerated products I am going to have to make some serious choices about the importance of dairy in my family’s diet vs the health of my reef :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Where do you all store your refrigerated products? Main fridge? Garage fridge? Dedicated reef fridge?

There's a line of mini fridges out there that's served me well for years. I don't know who the OEM is but they're sold under names like Whynter, Arctic King, etc. They don't have freezer compartments and are manual defrost. I don't like auto defrost because it tends to mess up frozen stuff.

They have the ability to be used as freezers simply by turning the temperature down which makes them very versatile.

I thought this was going to be a beer thread. Oh well.

Frozen food goes in the freezer.

I don't buy anything that needs normal refrigeration as I figure most of them are just bottles of snake oil.

Honestly, Coral get all they need from fish waste, and the fish are happy with pellets, nori, and a block of frozen every couple of weeks.

Costco had a great (greater than) mini fridge. Not full size but enough to house the essentials. But I'm NOT going to load my kitchen fridge with anything. Karen will not approve and I'll hear about it. Always, ALWAYS, listen to your Lady!

If it starts to resemble this you might need another fridge.

That's almost my reefing tank fridge - but that one has brew selection for every potential tank issue.
It's a work of art, don't clutter it with fish food.

The freezer is reserved for vodka - when those big issues just need me to carbon dose myself

Reef Cave or dedicated mini fridge? (or both) lol :D
Lol - I actually do have my own reef cave already :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: . Its not as cool as Matt’s, but it is my happy place for me to play mad scientist as my wife calls it. The display is upstairs, but the magic happens in my cave!

Just bought a new unit and one drawer and section of freezer for fish only

LOL. My garage fridge used to look like that. Unfortunately I had to retire from professional drinking after a long and impressive career with multiple championship wins :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
