Time line on a defined established tank

I'm curious to what timeline truly defines what most would refer to as an established tank. When are you past the "new tank uglies" stage? Thank you

This is different for many tanks. Most consider it a year. I consider it when the tank is in good balance, full of proper nutrients and the keeper is able to keep all parameters stable and happy over months.

Usually this means some nice colored rock, lots of pods, and very stable parameters.
