Thanks for the welcomes. The post got me thinking of my first big purchase in reefing when wet,/dry filters were all the rage. It had a rotating spray arm made of pvc that laid the water on a roll of that blue filter material. It was pretty noisy too.
I miss my lamotte test kits though. Had the whole set.
