I have a 65 tall with a 20 long sump. I have a galaxea, a stylocoeniella, a favia(?), an Acan Lord. I have an orchid dottyback, a firefish, 2 clownfish, a Yasha goby, a royal gramma, and a six line wrasse, a pincushion urchin. I’ve got a hydros system dosing 6ml of all for reef and auto top off, ph probe.
Light is a Fluval Marine 3.0
Alkalinity runs 9.3-9.5.
Ph 8.1-8.25
Salinity: 1.024-1.025 at 78 degrees.
Good coralline growth.
I use the alk as a barometer to keep everything stable, I dose the all for reef.

My questions for the experts:
Can I put in a Tomini or Two Spot Tang? I’ve got some algae growth.
I feed pellets once a day, should I increase this?
What are some other corals that would be good with my parameters?

Tank dimensions would probably help. Is it just a standard Aqueon 65 tall?

65g tall is 30L x 18W x 24H? It's not great for a tang if you want honesty

You should also be feeding various frozen foods, I like LRS (larrys).

Do you have any snails?

Take seems a little small. As for feeding try adding 4-5 different frozen variety to the rotation.

It’s a standard Aqueon. I have a bunch of snails and hermits, should have listed them. I guess a tang is out so maybe I should focus on a couple more cool fish that are flashy. I feed a frozen cube of mysis once or twice a week.

Aside from the tang, yes you should feed more often, I feed my fish 3-4 times a day.

As for corals, stick with low-light corals, the fluval light will not penetrate very deep into that tank.... mushrooms, zoa's, gorgonians, leathers, etc...

I appreciate that, I know my light is underpowered. I have Oolite sand and there is coralline algae growing on it. I will absolutely set my hydros feeder to feed more. Looking this up it looks like a topic of much debate: what are your feelings?
