So I will be moving here soon and fortunately I'm moving right next door. So I'm looking for some advice/further guidance. I have a pretty small setup (60 gallons total) and a frag tank that's not running right now but has water in it.

My plan was to pull out the rocks/corals and put them in a bucket, put the fish/inverts in another bucket and use a brute trash can to move the water. I plan on leaving the sand in since it's such a short move. Do I need to really worry about temp acclimation? Any other advice?

Keep in mind that corals do not like temp swings. So IMO you may want to keep the corals in a seperate bucket and at a constant temp. The system wont be broken down long so it should not drop a huge amount. Take a temp reading on your water in the brute as well as your bucket with the fish and if they match you can add your fish right to the display and then bring the display up to the temp of the coral bucket and then add the corals to the display as well. Should be pretty easy but I would keep it plugged in and move the display last after you have moved everything else in the house. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Unless it is the dead of winter you should be good,

Thanks for the reply! The real test will be the 2 hour move! Also I'm dedicating a whole day to just the tank.
