Times technology saved you or killed you

On a work trip and my dosing pump said one of the heads malfunctioned for calcium. I was able to restart it well on job site would of been nervous letting it go 48 hours with no supplements. The amount of stress it takes away. Anyone else sleep better or worse when away because of technology!? The girlfriend wasn't home either so would of had to train a neighbor or hire a fish rover if that's a thing.

For the tank my heater controller has saved a collapse.

In life I was installing an electric meter box to a house. Was on a ladder securing the service wire and had what I thought was a branch hitting my neck. Turns out it was the line from the electric pole. The electric company having it disabled saved my life.
