Timing a skimmer to come on and off

I'll admit it guys, the Apex is over my head in respect of programming.

I want my skimmer to come on and off at certain times of the day, (On at 10pm and off and 10am), I don't know where to start.

Is anyone able to do a step by step guide on how I achieve this?

Not sure what kind of skimmer you have but on mine I just have the pump that recirculates the water and produces the bubbles shut down on a simple wall timer with the pins. I got from HD. I shut my skimmer off from 11pm. to around 9 a.m.
I refuse to get involved with anything that needs me to weave through drop down boxes, scroll bars, passwords, usernames, windows behing wondows, junk cell phones, WIFI. etc.etc.

It's just a simple on/off time procesdure for the Neptune Apex, I'm sure someone can point me in the right direction

If you want the Apex to turn your skimmer on and off at set times change the control type in 'Output Configuration' for that device location to light or something else that has time values, then just set the run times.

Thanks but that is double dutch to me, I would need a step by step guide by someone

Tap the gear next to the outlet control you have the skimmer plugged into. change control type to one that has a timer ( lights, powerhead). Set your run times and you'll be all set.

Did you send the updated program to the Apex after making the change?

Yes, done that too but didn't change anything

A simple wifi outlet wilk do that. Its what i use. Mine goes off at 9pm and back on at 10:30pm

Just as a double check and to make sure that you are working on the correct out or that the outlet is function properly, can you turn the skimmer off using the interface as shown below.

In addition, is that outlet set to "Auto", as if it is set to "On" then it will not follow the program.
