timing for lights in a biocube 29

hey all i have a biocube 29 with 4 led fuge lights... 10,000k day light...actinic blues and lunar leds...before i get everything going i would like to know how long they should be on for and if they should be on at different times..ive searched this and havent come up with much..any help with this would be greatly appreciated..sorry im new and trying to learn as much as i can beforei get this tank started
 
Hi there!

It really depends on what you like and want to do. Our tanks can tolerate many different types of light cycle. I would leave the fuge lights on all the time as it helps keep the PH balanced. I would then have the actinics come on 1 hr before and the day lights and go off an hour after the day lights go off to give it somewhat of a sunrise and sunset effect. I would probably just leave the lunar led's on all the time if they were in fact just moon lights.

The daylight I would leave on for 7-8 hrs.

Also you can adjust when the lights go on and off to fit your schedule so you can enjoy the tank. :) HTH!
