I have a 40 g reef 36" wide. Inside are lots of rock with LPS and softies. I hope to add a few more fish too. The Apex Lite will control Hydor Koralia Evolution 750 gph, one per side. The controller did not come with suggestions as to the timing interval for this function. Any recommendations? What about placement and direction? Placed low, directed high? I have fine sand which probably was not a good idea. I have not bought the Koralia's yet but I am not willing to spend the money for the Vortechs so...

I have two Evo 1400's on a Reefkeeper Lite in a 100G 60" reef system with 330 lbs of Southdown sugar sand switching at 30 second intervals. I started at 1 minute but recently switched to 30 seconds and it is working well.
The Evos are in the two upper back corners both pointed front center with one a little higher than the other and it gives me good circulation with minimal sand movement if at all.
