Its already too late, it’s in the tank

picked up a timor wrasse

cant find much about them-seem reef safe-

Anyone have experience with these guys

did some reading and everyone says that they are reef safe but given that its a Halichoeres so there is a small chance of it going after after clean up crew. I keep many wrasses from the Halichoeres genus and non go after my CUC.
Good luck!

It won’t go after CUC unless it’s one of the big Halichoeres that can get 6-8” or bigger - Well known wrasses of this size and genus are, H. chloropterus with a max size of 8” in the wild and H. melanurus with a max size of 6” in the wild. I have a iridis that ignores all CUC but my CBB and Jade do not ignore it and any snail flipped on it’s back is gone within seconds. 4” Halichoeres tend to ignore the CUC so you should be alright.
