Thanks! Yukon huh? I remember Yukon, I lived in El Reno for a spell. Not much ocean life out that way. I was there for the May 3 1999 outbreak, carried my ar$e back to Virginia after that. Windy, very windy.

Managed to grab a few photos today. Tank seems to be doing well, things are stable so no complaints. Diatoms aren't too bad an not getting worse. Even the skimmer has settled down.

Did you have a problem with the corner overflow, some people are complaining about the drain being in the middle of tank, vs bottom or bottom half? Did they change it? I been wanting to get this one...

Not sure I follow you, there are two drains in the corner. One of them was supposed to be the return, but I had the back of the tank drilled for the return so I could set up the corner overflow as a full siphon drain with the second pipe as an emergency drain. I can take a picture of it if it will help explain it better. I just cut the main drain pipe about 5 or 6 inches lower than the emergency drain for the full siphon.

Yes that would help, from what I was told the drain was in the middle, sounds like you seen that was a problem and found your own solution. Smart thinking, can u share a pic of the back, ( if you can get to it ) and plumbing on back?

Thanks Andy, finally hit the GHA phase, it's starting to recede now thank goodness. Had one spot of cyano (about the size of a quarter) show up on the back wall, but almost gone now. Had one coral peel 80%, but seems it may be the only casualty. I did loose my 6 line, but nothing to do with tank move, he had a bad injury in the 29 as was never right after that. He ate good but something was messed up inside. All in all, I would say it's going well. I love the new tank, but seeing it so empty after 3 years of a stuffed tank is tough. Determined to move slow tho. I did find a patch of the dreaded bryopsis made it over to this tank. It's on the base of my cali tort. Going to remove it today, snip the base off and remount. Shouldn't be a big deal.

kallabos, I'll get some pictures for you this weekend, seems we are in for a rainy weekend, might as well try out my new lens on the tank.

LOL nothing much here but more shops have opened up in OKC since then.

Skimmer is the Vertex Omega 150 right? Just curious....how long did it take to fill your skimmer cup with all that gunk? Around what number did you adjust the red riser tube on the skimmer to, and did you end up loosening the white knob at the pumps intake at all?
