Ok everyone, question. I was looking to paint the back of my tank black but then thought about putting window tint on it instead. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have done it on the back and it works great. Right now my 125 has the overflows in the back corners and I have window tint on the side portions. It allows me not to look at the ugly plumbing and if I loose any fish I can still check that is not there.

I have used it before on corner overflows, same as R_C above. It worked fine for me, but I have always painted the backs of my tanks.

I have done this and it worked great for me.

I used 3m window film which is fairly easy to take off if you want.

Pic of my 200 Discus tank. Had it tinted five years no issues...
