Tiny anemone?

I found a “thing” on my live rock. I have had the rock in my possession for about 18 months but was bought as a used whole system up and running. I don’t know the origins of it except that it looks mixed. There is a piece of rock near the critter that looks to have been wet for a very long time w variety of algaes and sponges. The thing has a sort of disk about half a cm across and little tentacles. Pic attached. Thanks in advance for any insight

Ball anemone! I have several in our tank. They move and their population seems to wax/wane. I think I remember someone saying they were more closely related to the mushroom coral family then anemones. :)

+1. Pseudocorynactis caribbeorum (ball anemone) is in the same order as mushroom corals.
