Tiny Baby regal angel feeding

Hello. I got this regal angel which is very tiny (2 cm~).

I have put it alone in a quarantine tank with multiple hiding spots.
I tried feeding it for the first time today with small cut algae sheets and a mix of artemia/mysis. It tried eating the mix but it was too big for the angels mouth…

what would you suggest to feed it?

I am breeding small brine shrimp which hatch tommorow.

Good to know! I tried soaking pellets in water for 10+ min and it aggressively Ate them.

Which pellets did you soak? And do you have any other food to recommend? I’m getting my baby Captive Bred Regal on Tuesday.

surprisingly, the only pellets it eats is the cheapest ones I have. AF Marine Mix S - Aquaforesthttps://aquaforest.eu › product › af-marine-mix-s

I recommend getting it to eat in QT before introducing to your reef.

it is quiet hard to feed in the main tank, so I normally put a bunch of pellets all around the tank. It grazes all day, and I see it eat the pellets when it finds them on the sandbed.

I would recommend easy masstick for food also. mine does not touch frozen Artemis or mysis. if your reef is mature and has lots of sponges on the rock work, then it should be able to get enough food early on just by grazing.
