Hi All:

I have an 180 G (half inch thick glass) reef aquarium that I have had for about 6 month. I have noticed a few (6 or so) tiny bubbles starting to develop inside the glass on one of the ends of it. Is this something I need to be concerned about. Or, is this some-what normal?

I included a picture. The bubbles are about a foot out from the left side. And. are about the size of a pen head and smaller.

Thank You,

Do you mean inside the actual glass or on the inside glass ?

Oh ok. Tiny bubbles inside the glass happened when the glass was made so nothing to worry about . You notice them more with water in the tank.

SirTang, did this ever get worse? Who was the manufacturer?

Anyone else have this happen?

I noticed this has happen on my 57g rimless with 1/2” glass. As of now it’s only one bubble but it’s dead center on front panel and can’t be missed!!

Tank manufacturing date is 4 years ago. Only been running for a year and a half.

Any help or comments are appreciated!

I have similar issue with my new Waterbox aquarium. I inspect it initially and it did not have any bobble but few weeks later I noticed tiny little bobble inside the glass. I don't know how that is possible.
