Tiny crustacean? A mite of some sort?

Noticed him on my glass. This pic is through a loupe - he's just a tiny TINY black dot, maybe 1/2 mm?

Could be a young sea spider or a larval crab.
Both are bad.

Nope. Never seen anyone have enough of them to care what they eat.
