I have a few of these on my live rock. Are they tiny feather dusters?

Anyone know their scientific name? Would be nice to google them for more info.

Yes. I really cant think of anything thats born full grown execpt maybe bacteria.

Actually those little feathers stay pretty tiny, and I love them.
To me they are a sign of a healthy reef.

My last few tanks I had a CBB to keep aptasia in check, and while those are neat to keep, it means absolutely no feathers or gorgonians, clams of any kind.
My present tank I'm going to do w/out a CBB just so I can have feathers and gorgs again.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
