Hello all,

Have recently had these guys pop up in both my office nano and my main system and was wondering if anyone had an ID or a good/bad say on these little buggers...

They are about 1/8" long give or take and swarm in droves on the glass and rockwork and move in a mat formation all together.

I have been sucking them out as I find them but have made little to no forward progress on eradicating them....

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Today I found about an 8" long strand in the nano tank and 2 open hand sized spiderweb looking mats in the main system.

Have a read this thread,as something similar to yours.
I posted in another thread also in last few months and think someone said called something different.its really late here so no time look back through my posts to find it.maybe tommorrow I look if remember ^_^

Couldn't help myself lol.
Here you go.here the other thread I'm in about .
Have a read this thread also and between them. Hopefully you got your answer ^_^
Good luck

Thanks @ying yang! I read those threads but they both seem to identify them as a fungal issue and not so much a worm issue?? The second thread ended with worms rather than fungus but still no ID yet. Bizzare!
