Tiny pointy top snail like things

These popped up all over my tank on the glass the look flat on one side but pointy on the otherside it looks like a snail shell almost and they look brown mostly some smaller ones look white I don't know what they are and why I have so many out of nowhere please help and I also have one large one like I swear he used to not be this big

Agree on reef safe limpets often confused with chiton snails and great algae eaters
 
I just posted one more picture of the big guy couldn't find it I swear he blends in when UT trying to look for it but it's gotten huge . But they are OK is it OK to have that many I mean is there a reason so many popped up out of nowhere?

Welcome! Glad you joined. Glad others were able to identify limpets for you.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)
