Tiny snails on my snail

SO, these tiny little white snails were observed on one of my other snails. they look to be baby cerinth types but I have astrea snails. that are much more cone shaped.


ANY ideas here?

So, after some quick googling. I believe these are Pyramid snails. and after thinking that, I now know the root cause of two recent maxima clam deaths in my tank were not caused by elevated Alkalinty but by these things. guess i need to pull the big derasa and scrub ever snail in my tank.

sorry to hyjack but I have an astrea snail that has a black growth on it. It LOOKS like a pyramid snail but it never moves from the snail. I dont have any pics atm either. Anyone seen this before?

The ones on the OP's snail are pyramid snails no doubt.
