Tiny thread like appendages protruding from sand?

Sorry they're very tiny so this is the best pic that I could get...
They are definitely some type of critter.
They tend to move with the flow as they are very, very small but also appear to retract when they've "caught" something. Almost like tiny starfish or octopus legs. Lol
Any help appreciated :D

look up spaghetti worm i have quite a few lol I've had no issues other than it looking like I have hair in my sand
I do believe you are correct! And it looks like I might have 2 types,
Your average run-of-the-mill spaghetti worms and also a banded spaghetti worm colony all living together in harmony..xD

+1 Spaghetti worm. I have several in my 20g, cleanest my sand has ever been to be honest. Looks a little weird but they're great detrivores.
Great news. I'm all about the helpful guys. I even have an acropora crab in my bird's nest colony that everyone has told me to get rid of... but it has done absolutely no harm and it is completely adorable!
