After a couple of weeks of trying to find out what was causing my beautiful tyree bubblegum chalice to recede and flake, I finally found this. I just dipped it in coral rx for 5 mins and upon inspecting I noticed a bug that is slightly bigger than a grain of sand. Best way I could describe would be a translucent rollie pollie with antennas as long as it's body. Lots of legs. I tried to take a few pics but it's just too dang small.

It came out of my chalices flesh, any idea what it could be?? Parasitic copepod?

It looks like a harmless pod. I see loads of them in my tank and my 2 chalices are doing fine.

All my other chalices are doing fine as well as all other corals. Somethings gotta be eating this chalice cause its the only one flaking and peeling!
