I'm a novice so this might be remedial critter ID. I've slowly had new thin structures no more than 1mm diameter on multiple corals- hammers, scoli, trumpets. I'm assuming theyre harmless.

They're actuality vermetid snails and obnoxious, but fairly harmless. I have millions of them. This is assuming they have a filamentous mucus line that they catch stuff with. Google it, lots of different opinions, but they haven't really bothered much. If you can get ahead of them and snip them off at the base, use stainless steel snips.

I haven't seen mucous strings from them but I will keep an eye out. So far my corals dont seem irritated but I'd rather not get to that point. Several things ive read in the last 5 mins says they do tend to die off on their own after a long while...

They do come and go depending on available food particulate
