I have been have a problem with algae on my glass.

Today I come home and the algae is a little better.

But, I notice tons of little white specks on the glass with the algae. And, they move!!! The are very small with a little tail and they have jerky straight line movement.

You can kinda see them below. Please advise....

Yup, copepods on the glass. An absolutely fantastic sight in a reef tank! :)

The rocks look a little to clean imo. They need food to feed on to maintain a steady population. Micro algae, bacteria film, etc.

So, they will die off? I have some green where the MH hits but my hermits, emerald and trochus keep them fairly clean.

Are you saying a Mandarin will be jumping the gun?

Bacterial bloom.
Something rotting and feeding the bacteria.

Are those snails dead?
You should take em out when they die.
