Hi guys,

For a few days now there have been about 6-7 very very small white rods/tubes? on my rockwork, pictures attached.
Can you identify them? Could this be a problem?

Thanks!

If the tube is hard and you can see mucus nets they could be vermetid snails.
If they are soft they could be feather dusters.

Those are vermetid snails.

I believe some wrasses will predate them. There are arguments for and against bumblebee snails keeping them in check. I believe they help. But you have to help thrm. I crush the shell with a 18" x 1/4" round acrylic rod. Then put a bumblebee snails or three next to the carnage and let them clean up.

Aside from this being a potential benefit of keeping bblebees, they are also workhorses.
