Hey all, I recently received some chaeto and nano brine from AlgaeBarn and yesterday I noticed these tiny white worms on my glass. They move pretty slowly and I can't see any legs on them. Any ideas what they are?

Hmm the copepods I've seen kinda twitch and move in bursts. These guys are slow and steady and almost slither around.

Yeah, your second picture looks more like worms. What else have you added to your tank? It’s not impossible for something to have come in with the chaeto, but algaebarn quarantine procedures are pretty good.

Yeah I haven't added anything but the chaeto. I even did a freshwater dip before I added it

Hard to tell from the pic. Looks like rhabdocoela. Fairly harmless but a bit unsightly since they climb the glass. I think they feed mostly on copepods or other small organisms.
Ok, I might try to borrow a microscope from a friend. Hopefully I'll see a little more detail

Ok, here's the best pic I could get of it under a microscope haha
