Reminds me of a feather duster/ tube worm .
Does it retract into a tube if shine light on it or go near it with your hand or tweezers/ coral feeder?
I cant see bo claw on it .
First I thought some kind of hydroid then feather duster because the yellow but picture unfortunately not clear enough sorry

And blue thing is maybe asterina star fish possibly

You don't need to get closer zoom, you need to get a better-focused picture to ID whatever it is.

Is it stationary? Doesn't move from place to place?

If you find out its colonial hydroids, get that rock out. Carve out the thing. And remove any other hydroids you find. They are awful and difficult pests to get rid of. They spread over time and annoy, sting other corals.

looks blue sponge coral, but it could be a blue starfish if it moves. can't see it clearly btw.

Both are cool. Does that blue star eat anything? How long have you had it?
Its definitely a starfish, there are several of them, they move and are about a fifth the size of an Asterina.
I have just set up my invert qt tank and got this rock from a fellow reefer 2 days ago in order to kickstart my bio diversity

Still say feather duster ^_^
Try using tweezers or Turkey baster or anything to go near it or above it and see if retracts.
Look up feather duster online and see if that's what your seeing ( if not already) guessing you already looked up feather duster and its not that you seeing as thread still going ?
Or even shine bright torch at it and they sometimes retract into their tube.
You see a tube right ?
The feather part is the crown of the worm and use it to filter feed and retract into hard calcified tube for safety .

Some crabs also have stuff like this on end of there claws to filter feed also so also a possibility I guess.
But you can see alot better than all of us and know it moves?
Is it stationery?
Etc etc
