i’d say they’re a zoanthid but there are a lot of polyps and their mouths havent grown past the size of a ballpoint pen tip.

they also have really long ‘eyelashes’ that i’ve only ever seen on parazoanthus, but paras are a lot bigger than these lads.

any ideas? pardon the bad photography :)
 
Hard to tell but they kind of look like some type of Colonial Hydriods.
 
Yes, I would definitely. They are basically little jelly fish that can sting and kill coral. It would be best to chisel that chunk of rock off and not risk it.
 
You should aim water flow towards them- not at them and they will soon starve. Cutting them off will merely encourage regrowth
 
thanks y’all. they were in the rock my mushroom came on so i clipped the mushroom off. they were only in my water for ten hours so wish me luck :D
