Have 2 different yellow tip corals, one losing and one gaining tip color. Picture not the greatest.

1) JF Flame which is losing the yellow tip coloration

Alk 7.4-7.8
Cal 400-420
Mag 1495
Nitrates 3-5 (low)
Phosphate .1-.15

They look growing/encrusting fine just coloration seems to be the issue. Could it be light or nutrient?

I’ve seen sps loose a color and then months or years later come back or come back a different color. They do what they do sometimes. Otherwise look healthy. I know till I got my no3 up to double digits I wasn’t seeing great coloration

Depends on the spectrum and nutrient levels, my FF has gone completely pink, lost its yellow tips and now has a green undertone lol.

As long as they're growing and turning some colour other then white and brown you're doin okay!
