Tips for a quiet tank

I plan on setting up a nano reef in my bedroom and would like it to be as silent as possible. Do any of you know any good tips for a quiet tank?

I thought about that. But I have a freshwater tank that would like to convert into saltwater, but since it's such a small tank (25 gallons) I would like to add more water to the system with an external sump for more stability
