Tips for Curing Dry Live Rock

Hello,

I recently bought old live rock from someone on Craigslist, and he recommended curing it before putting it in my new tank. Is anyone able to share recommendations for curing the live rock? I have heard that a muriatic acid bath is very effective, but I have also heard that simple vinegar works as well.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip!! In terms of protective gear for my face, does it need to be a full respirator mask?
